Program Development and Other Information
CAP funds support the AB 617 Public School Air Filtration Program. Before its release, the California Air Resources Board approved a project plan for the AB 617 Public School Air Filtration Program, allowing the use of CAP funds for public school air filtration. South Coast AQMD staff developed the project plan through a public process with community input on the program's budget and eligibility requirements. The project plan is available below.

Program Outreach
South Coast AQMD staff has met with school district staff in AB 617 Communities to inform them about the AB 617 Public School Air Filtration Program. We encourage AB 617 Community Steering Committees and residents to share this webpage and the flyer below with local schools.
